EXECUTIVE COACH -- Ondine Norman began her career as a licensed psychotherapist. After delving deeply into providing therapy for individuals, couples and groups, she decided to move into the corporate arena. Beginning in 2001, she closed her practice and moved to New York to work for Proteus International as a trainer and executive coach. She had the good fortune to be surrounded by brilliant mentors and clients who provided a smooth and enriching transition into the corporate world. She has been training, mostly in leadership, communication skills and emotional intelligence and providing executive coaching for clients all over the globe since 2001.


Her specialty is working with individuals and teams/groups and senior executives as a confidential thinking partner and coach. She is known for emphasizing the importance of self-awareness in body, emotions and language for my clients. She believes that greater self-awareness leads to greater self-management which then leads to greater self-empowerment. The leaders she works with are in fast paced, high energy global organizations. They need constant reminders of what it is to be present and aware of the impact they are having on others. They also need reminders about self-care and work/life balance and, most importantly, how do they stay focused on the business needs while also staying aware of the quality of life of their people. She is certified in MBTI, DiSC, Hogan Assessment, Essi systems EQ and EQ Baron. She is also a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation, has her Master Practitioner License in NLP and is a Social Styles Assessment Facilitator.

She has her BA degree from UC Berkeley in English and Philosophy. She has a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Ondine has extensive experience in the entertainment Industry, cable companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Some of her clients have included AMC, IFC, FUSE, and Bravo.

  • President and Founder of Norman & Associates since 2003. Norman & Associates is a professional services firm focusing on serving mid and upper-level executives in a variety of industries.
  • Designed and facilitated a Communication Skills Training called Commonsense Communication: Basic Management Skills for New Managers which was rolled out to 10,000 employees in Sacramento County.
  • She has taught Change Agent workshops for Johnson & Johnson since 2010 and is now training a group of medical writers to teach her new training Personal Leadership & Influence which is being delivered throughout the R&D area.
