The American Nurses Association estimates that more than 500,000 nurses plan to retire by 2022. To supplement retirees and expansion, more than 1.1 million new RNs will be needed, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects.1 In addition to this hiring shortage, those on the frontlines of the Covid-19 pandemic already experienced so much stress. Now more than ever, it’s essential to support and care for those who care for us.
That’s why David Couper Consulting created a free monthly virtual meeting where Healthcare Leaders can exchange ideas, find community, and get answers to their timely questions about leadership during a crisis. We’re calling these Healthcare Leader Exchanges. It’s an interactive way to connect with and share solutions with Healthcare Leaders across the globe. Led by a trusted DCC facilitator, a concept is presented at the onset of the session to guide the conversation towards solutions-based exchanges around real-world examples.
Join in the conversation on our next session via Zoom.
To maintain a safe space, these sessions are intentionally not recorded. However, be sure to register even if you cannot make the allotted time. We know Healthcare Leaders are busy, so a recap of each session will be sent to all those who register.
Participants have shared…
“This felt like a much-needed emotional hug.”
“I feel less isolated after these sessions.”
“Feel better knowing that these matters are not only my concerns but across healthcare systems in the nation”
“It was very helpful to hear that other health centers are having the same concerns as we are. We aren't alone.”
We hope you'll join us for an upcoming session. If you have further questions about how DCC can support your Healthcare Leaders, email us at info@davidcouperconsulting.com.
