Our healthcare system has experienced a lot of strain in recent years. From Covid-19 to staffing shortages, Nurse Leaders are in new territory with unanswered pandemic related questions. They’re strapped for time and resources. How can they satisfy the needs of their organization and also their staff? By collaborating with other Nurse Leaders.
Starting October 2021, DCC is launching a new service called Nurse Leader Councils.
It's specifically curated to provide a nationwide community and cultivate leadership solutions for nurse leaders during challenging times. Now more than ever, it's essential to provide nurse leaders with tools to retain and engage their teams during crises and beyond.
Our virtual program is a combination of group and individual work to elevate and support.
A council is a group of 6-12 people of either peers or teams. Once a month, a DCC coach and facilitator will lead a 2-hour online group session. This session is designed to be a collaborative, neutral space to gain insight into each participant's toughest challenges. Through shared learning, all are guided to solve the things keeping them up at night and build a community of peers as an ongoing resource.
In addition, participants receive a 1:1 coaching session each month with the same DCC coach/facilitator assigned to their specific Council.
This is a minimum of a 3-month commitment to ensure maximized results. With success and interest, we are happy to extend the Councils.
